Khululeka Grief Support is a Non-Profit Organisation based in Cape Town
Our mission is to build the resilience of children, adolescents and adults who care for them by equipping them with tools to process their experiences of loss and death. Through a holistic approach, we aim to create responsive and compassionate environments that enable grieving children and adolescents to heal.

Khululeka was started in 2005 in response to the HIV pandemic, to support the many children and teens who had lost their parents.
Khululeka programmes focus on the recognition and support of children and teens who have suffered bereavement and loss. Khululeka has trained and mentored social workers and teachers, child and youth care workers and home based carers, and community based organisation volunteers and parents across South Africa.
